No politics tonight. Simply, the people of Haiti are in desperate need of our assistance. Contributions can be small or large, the cost of a cup of coffee or a meal at a nice restaurant, but even the smallest donations make a difference. Tonight we are more than Democrats or Republicans, we are more then citizens of the United States: we are members of the global community, and must answer the moral imperative of helping our fellow man in time of dire need.
Don't delay - donate. Pray, meidtate, think positive thoughts, or hope for the best - do for the people of Haiti whatever it is you do in times of crisis. And please forward this to as many folks as you can, as many ways as you can, to spread the word and make it easy for folks to contribute. My sincere thanks for your efforts.
I refuse to cave to a minivan. I am still a tomboy - comfortable in Levi's, my Yankees cap and Converse. And I always have a political opinion...hell, I always have an opinion, period. The hubby, my kids and my friends think I should run for office. Maybe one day. But for now, Momma Politico blogs.
Peruse, enjoy, and know that our busy lives are as significant as those in The Washington Post. Cheers,
